Intensive Learning Experience for Archaeological Methods and Theory
Required for a professional career in Archaeology, including CRM
Learn geophysical survey methods and excavation strategies
Explore cultural sites across the Deep South
Two courses - ANTH 260 (2 credits) and 460/660 (6 credits)

Learn the latest methods in field archaeology related to survey and excavation, including compass, GPS, and total station work. The field school is an excellent introduction to archaeology as a career and is a prerequisite for most professional jobs in archaeology.
